The Bumblebee classroom caters for pre-school aged children until they leave the setting to start their primary school journey.  The Bumblebee classroom is in the upstairs room, which allows the older children more independence to navigate the space needed.

As well as the Montessori equipment within the room, there is also a reading tree corner, role play area and an arts and craft station.  Daily the practitioners provide topical activities with the children's interests in mind as well as activities for special events throughout the year.

Within the classroom the children have their own snack station and washing up area.  Our children are encouraged daily to make their own morning snack choices and serve themselves as well as wash up and clear away their space.

​

Children within the Bumblebee room have their own adjoining upstairs bathroom with child sized toilets and sinks to help promote their independence.
