The Bumblebee Classroom is designed for our preschool children, supporting them from the time they join us until they leave to begin their exciting primary school journey.

Located in our spacious downstairs room, the Bumblebee Classroom provides children with the freedom and independence to explore their environment confidently while enjoying easy access to our outdoor learning spaces. Adjoining the main classroom is The Hive, a smaller, dedicated space where children can take part in more focused activities or relax in our calming sensory area.

Alongside our carefully prepared Montessori resources, the classroom also features a cosy reading corner, an imaginative role-play area, and a creative arts and crafts station. Each day, our practitioners plan engaging activities inspired by the children's interests, alongside seasonal experiences and celebrations throughout the year.

To encourage independence and develop valuable life skills, children have access to their own snack station and washing-up area. They are supported to choose and prepare their own morning snack, serve themselves, and take responsibility for tidying their space by washing up and clearing away afterwards.

The Bumblebee Classroom also has its own adjoining bathroom with child-sized toilets and sinks, helping children build confidence and independence in their daily self-care routines.
